You provide the space we provide the rest

Abundant Beginnings will set up a mindful, warm, and flexible childcare space at your conference or event! All you need to do is provide the space, and we will bring the materials, sign up process, and social justice oriented staff.

Experienced & Values Aligned

We know how important peace of mind is for parents and organizations. Our directors have over 40 years collective experience in childcare and child programming in social movement spaces, and have created safe and engaging spaces for children at many, many, protests and conferences over the years. We will provide staff qualified to support infants and children of any age. You can choose to supplement our staff with your volunteers, or we can staff the whole event. We are licensed and insured.

CONTENT ALIGNED WITH ADULT PROGRAMMING

BSC’s Black Futures Retreat was centered on themes of Afro-Futurism and Rest. We tailored the youth programming to reflect these themes, offering youth opportunities to imagine futures, and rest and connect with nature.

Programming covered ages 6 months-15, in three age group tracks led by experienced AB staff. Toddlers, Elementary, and Teens & Tweens all interacted with the conference themes at age appropriate levels. To support the immersive experience of the adult track, AB offered care and support as needed from 8:30 am - 11:00pm.

AB staff are experienced with kids who have high support needs, and this prepares us to know how to communicate with all families about each kiddo’s needs as needed during programming.
